Professional Summary:

Dr. DeFazio worked extensively as a community emergency physician prior to becoming a member of the teaching faculty affiliated with the emergency medicine residency here in Buffalo in 2000. He served as the Assistant Clinical Director of the Emergency Department at Buffalo General Hospital as well as the department Quality Improvement Coordinator until becoming the Residency Director in 2008. His primary interest lies in the education of emergency medicine residents.
