Dr. Michele Cook has clinical interests in interventional radiology. She works closely with the Oncology Department, providing measurements for research protocols, most often for lung, colon and prostate cancer. She attends Surgical Oncology conferences, and Cancer Committee. Dr. Cook usually has third and fourth year SUNY medical students, who spend their mornings with her. She enjoys teaching, with an emphasis on appropriate clinical histories and following what happens after the interventional procedure. She finds it rewarding to help the patient avoid surgery when he is not a good surgical candidate.
