Chronic pain affects people of all ages and all backgrounds. Alison Vargovich, PhD discusses how the Division of Behavioral Medicine at UBMD Internal Medicine treats patients with chronic pain, working to bridge together the patient’s knowledge of their pain with the psychologist’s expertise to better manage pain in conjunction with medical interventions.

Dr. Vargovich is a pain psychologist with the division and is an assistant professor at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo.

Dr. Vargovich sees patients at the DK Miller Building on the Erie County Medical Center Campus.
