Dr. Kruse is a physician that specializes in Emergency medicine and Emergency medical services. He completed his medical degree at The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) in 2017. After graduating from medical school he went on to complete a residency in Emergency medicine through the University at Buffalo and subsequently completed a fellowship in EMS. He board certified in the field of emergency medicine and currently practices as a physician in the emergency departments of ECMC, Buffalo General medical center, and the VA Hospital in Buffalo, NY.
Outside of his work obligations in the emergency department Dr. Kruse also works as one of the associate medical directors at Mercy Flight where he focuses on fellow education and Quality Improvement.
While completing residency and fellowship training Dr. Kruse served as a member of the SMART team for Erie County where he responded to numerous calls for on scene medical direction during incidents such as structure fires and motor vehicle collisions that involved multiple injured parties.
