Dr. Katelyn Crowley, a board certified Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine physician, has a strong interest in Primary Care, the treatment of obesity, and the treatment of Opioid use Disorder. She has experience working through telemedicine for the treatment of opioid use disorder, in order to expand and improve access to buprenorphine treatment. She also has experience in medical education through lectures, grand rounds, mentorship, and precepting residents at ECMC Internal Medicine Center. In April 2024, she started a weight management clinic in ECMC Internal Medicine to facilitate the treatment of obesity among all patients in primary care which residents will take part in, with a goal to improve physician knowledge of obesity treatment and increase access for patients to receive treatment for obesity.
