Dr. Koenig is a full-time, board certified Emergency Physician at Buffalo General Medical Center. He has been a member of the SUNY at Buffalo department of Emergency Medicine teaching faculty since joining in 2001. He has served as director of the observation unit at Buffalo General for 7 years. Before that, he practiced community emergency medicine in Michigan and completed residency training at William Beaumont Hospital. He completed degrees in Medicine and Biochemical Pharmacology at the University at Buffalo. He values excellent patient care and is honored to be able to teach outstanding students and residents. He hopes to help shape the future generation of physicians.
