Dr. Pawlowski is an assistant clinical professor board-certified in Emergency Medicine. She currently works clinically at Buffalo General Medical Center, The VA of Western New York and John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital. She is native to Western New York and completed medical school and residency through the University at Buffalo School of Medicine. In her last year of residency, she served as chief resident. Prior to her current academic position, Dr. Pawlowski worked clinically in the community setting for many years.
Dr. Pawlowski’s passion for shaping young leaders and helping to foster well-rounded physicians has led her to co-create the UBEM Mentorship Program. Mentoring and Leadership Development are of special interest to Dr. Pawlowski. She has continues her development by completing her Certification in Leadership Coaching. She hopes to bring the benefits of Leadership Coaching and continued development to all physicians within UBMD EM. This year, Dr. Pawlowski joined the Jacobs School of Medicine faculty as a Learning Communities Coach, using her professional coaching to guide our Medical Students. This role is part of the brand new Well Beyond Curriculum that began this year.
When not working, Dr. Pawlowski can be found with her family skiing in the winter, at the baseball diamond in the summer and planning Disney vacations!
