My clinical practice is General Gastroenterology and I enjoy seeing patients with Inflammatory bowel disease, Barrett‘s esophagus, Chronic constipation, Achalasia, Nutritional disorders and other Gastrointestinal issues. I am passionate about colon cancer screening and have participated in various research projects and quality improvement projects to improve the access and quality of colonoscopy procedure.
"While we teach, we learn", said the Roman philosopher Seneca. I have been fortunate to have excellent mentors during my training and want to continue their legacy. Being a faculty at UBMD, I get the opportunity to work with medical students, residents and gastroenterology fellows.
Medicine is an ever evolving field and my practice is based on incorporating the latest medical literature in the plan of care. I like to present all options to patients and make them an integral part of the care plan.
