Auditing & Monitoring

Auditing & monitoring combine as one of the seven essential elements of a compliance program as outlined by the Federal Sentencing Guidelines and Office of Inspector General guidelines. An effective compliance program incorporates a system of continuous program evaluation.  This includes monitoring records for accuracy through various types of audits, and ensuring all levels of providers, students, coders and billers are following proper documentation guidelines, PATH guidelines, and various other guidelines and regulatory processes when completing patient records and through the billing process.
