To stay connected with our patients and families, we now offer UBMD CareConnect, our new telemedicine service.
UBMD CareConnect provides access to the vital care you need without coming to the office. For each visit, your provider will determine if the appointment can be done by video call, phone call or if an in-person visit is required.
If you need an appointment, please call our offices to schedule your telemedicine visit.
Starting Your CareConnect Visit
Just like an in-person appointment, you must be scheduled for a CareConnect virtual appointment.
Our physicians are using telemedicine in several ways. Depending on your provider, you may be utilizing a different service: Doxy.me, Skype or Zoom. Please click on the service you'll be using. If you're not sure what service you'll be using for your provider, you can also look under each service to find your provider's name. Once you find your provider's name, please follow the corresponding directions.
Follow these steps to attend a scheduled CareConnect Appointment
- Make sure the device you're using has Google Chrome, Safari or Firebox browser. Our telemedicine service is only compatible with these internet browsers.
- When it is time for your appointment, make sure you are either on wi-fi or in a place where you have good internet service.

- Your CareConnect visit will check you in via the secure doxy.me platform into your specialty provider's waiting room, and the call will start once your provider is ready.
